This promoting good/healthy eating workshop also covers how to manage fussy eating and challenges with food. Aimed primarily at carers of children between 1 and 5 years of age, however, may also be relevant to carers of older children experiencing challenges with food.

Toileting support workshop
29 April 2024, 10 to 11.30am
This event will offer support to foster carers and kinship carers with challenges faced when toilet training toddlers/children, especially when they have experienced neglect, abuse, or trauma. The course will focus on how these experiences may impact children and present in issues related to toileting and will consider how you can support children, overcoming some of the challenges and barriers you may experience along the way.
Infant feeding workshop
9 May 2024, 1 to 2.30pm
Infant feeding workshop. This event will offer information and support to foster carers and kinship carers about feeding babies, primarily aged 0-1 years. The course will focus specifically on bottle feeding, safe preparation and storage of milk, responsive and paced feeding, and how to support close relationships to promote brain development.
