Adopted young people's youth voice residential Summer 2026
Course date: Friday, July 31, 2026We are excited to announce upcoming residential opportunities for adopted young people!
This residential event will be an opportunity for the young people to create positive adoption resources and inspire change in schools and communities. It will take place during the week of 24 August 2026 with a preparation day on Friday 31 July 2026. Young people are required to attend the preparation day in order to participate in the residential.
There will be an assessment process to determine the eligibility of the young people to attend the residentials. This process will utilise a combination of criteria informed by the funding requirements of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme and our residential policy guidance.
To register your young person's interest in attending the residential please complete the residential application form. Once we receive the completed form we will assess each application as quickly as possible and inform families if a place has been granted. We kindly ask for your patience as we assess each application individually, which may take some time. Following successful applications families will then be required to complete the necessary consent forms.
We are committed to being as transparent as possible throughout the process of hosting this residential and look forward to providing a rewarding experience for adopted young people.
